Terms of Service

By registering for or using Fairgo, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. Fairgo is provided by Berkan Eti under the developer name “Hitit Labs.” If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service.

1. Eligibility and accounts

Do not create a Fairgo account if you are under 13. If the law where you live requires permission from a parent or legal guardian to enter a binding agreement or use digital services, you may use Fairgo only with that permission. You are responsible for accurate information, protecting your account and invite codes, and activity under your account. Tell us about unauthorized use.

2. The service

Fairgo helps record and share trip or group expenses, calculate across currencies, simplify debts, export reports, manage edit/approval flows, and send notifications. Some features work offline. Accounts, cloud sync, collaboration, current exchange rates, and notifications require internet access and third-party services.

Fairgo is not a bank, payment service, accountant, or financial adviser. It does not hold money or execute payments between users. Verify calculations and rates before making a real payment.

3. Group content and permissions

When you add content to a cloud trip, you ask us to make it visible to trip members and to host and process it to provide the service. You retain ownership. You grant Fairgo only the limited license needed to operate, synchronize, display, back up, and generate outputs you request.

A trip owner can manage the trip and certain records. Member edits may require owner approval. A person sharing an invite code is responsible for sharing it only with trusted people.

4. Calculations and exchange rates

Fairgo calculations and exchange rates are informational. Rounding differences may occur, and displayed rates may differ from rates used by your financial institution. Verify amounts before making a real payment.

5. Acceptable use

You may not:

• Use the service unlawfully, fraudulently, abusively, or to violate another person's rights;
• Upload unauthorized personal data, illegal content, malicious code, or deceptive financial records;
• Access another account or trip without permission or bypass invitation, quota, or security controls;
• Disrupt the service, send excessive automated requests, reverse engineer it, or evade security controls.

6. Fees and changes

Fairgo currently offers free features. If we introduce a paid feature, its price and terms will be shown before purchase; we will not charge you without affirmative authorization. We may change, limit, or discontinue features for security, legal, or product reasons.

7. Suspension and termination

You may delete your account in the app at any time. We may limit access or suspend an account for serious or repeated violations, a security risk, or legal necessity. The scope of deletion is described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Warranty and liability

We aim to provide the service with reasonable care, but do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or always-current operation. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses caused by reliance on unverified calculation or rate output, incorrect user input, leaked invite codes, or third-party outages outside our control.

9. Governing law and disputes

Subject to mandatory consumer and data-protection rules, these Terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye. We will first try to resolve issues through [email protected]. Your right to use competent consumer authorities and courts is not restricted.
