Delete your Fairgo account

You can immediately delete your Fairgo account and associated data in the app, or email a deletion request if you no longer have access to the app.

Delete in the app

1. Sign in to Fairgo.
2. Tap your profile icon on the trip list.
3. Select Delete Account and confirm.

After successful completion, you are signed out and local Fairgo data is cleared from the device.

Request deletion on the web

Email [email protected] from your registered email address with the subject “Fairgo Account Deletion Request.” Include only the email address on the account; do not send your password or identity documents. We will verify ownership through the registered address and complete the request as soon as reasonably possible.

Data deleted and data that may remain

• Your account, profile, session, and notification token;
• Cloud trips you own and their related expense, payment, person, and edit-request records;
• Local Fairgo data on the device when deletion is completed in the app.

Expense or payment history you previously added to another user's trip may remain so the group retains accounting integrity, but the account link is removed and the person's name is anonymized as “Deleted user.” Limited records required for security or law, and provider backups, expire under their applicable retention schedules.
